‘Ben, tell me a story…’ ‘Mick, I thought humans your age don’t do the story thing anymore…?’ ‘Well, on this fine day…I’ll make a choice with Heart…leave Ego for later when I’m in the real world…’ ‘Mick…the whole point is to live with Heart…all the time…!’
‘Ok, a story…let me think…Mmm…ok, here’s one. A farmer had two bulls, but alas…no good were they with the cows…’ ‘You mean they couldn’t…?’ ‘Yes, I mean exactly that. Then one day in walks another handsome, young, ready to…’ ‘Yes, yes…’ ‘Well, this stud immediately started to mount one after the other cows… After an hour one of the old bulls started snorting and pawing the ground. ‘What’s the matter?’ asked the one bull, ‘you getting ideas…?’ ‘No, But I don’t want that young one to think I’m one of the cows…!’
‘Ben…?’ ‘Why can’t it just be… and they lived happily ever after stories…?’ ‘Because Mick…I don’t want you to struggle with Ego issues when you’re a certain age…all too often high horses jump out when they were long ready for retirement…’
